I love off-the-wall AUs, so hard.

They're a lot of fun. :D Most of the fandoms I read in don't really do wacky AUs, so clearly I need to branch out more.

It seems to me that it's mostly the RPF fandoms and the older, established ones (like SGA and due South) that really do it? Probably because there's no real canon to work with, or canon's been a bit exhausted.
