I was so spurred on by yesterdays post that I pretty much sat down and recorded the last 6 parts. Not all in one go but yeah, in one day.

Oh noes! What next?!

I spent a lot of the morning trying to figure out a kink_bingo project only to realize it would probably fail because one of the authors has left fandom. I wrote and asked for permission anyway but I felt really discouraged at that point.

But in the afternoon and evening I did about 25 minutes of recording, 65 minutes of serious editing, and then some self-betaing and, like Dodie, an hour or so of fucking around with files. The two podficlets I posted last night were all done yesterday.

I can't move on with the recording I want to do for podtor_who because I'm waiting for author permission, even though the author in question has been podficced before and I'm almost sure they'll be fine with it once they get around to answering. Maybe they'll do that while I'm at work today!

Podtor_Who \o/ I have to decide what I want to do for that, but it's exciting! I have all sorts of femmeslashy/female gen DW stories earmarked for recording :D

Aw, I'm wishing you luck with that author... it's always a bummer when you're not sure where they are with things.

I can't wait to see what everyone does for Podtor_Who! I'm not really in Doctor Who as a podfic fandom, but I love to listen to it!

I did about an hour of recording. :D

... admittedly I haven't actually asked the authors for permission yet. But I find that if I record it first, just for fun, without the pressure of someone already knowing that I'm doing it, I get it done far quicker and don't spend weeks avoiding it. Uh... I have issues with commitment. >.> (This is why blanket permission is awesome! :D)

Also, I really have to adopt this method of recording/requesting permissions 'cause I also have problems... In that, I have permission for a story, but it's taking me a LONG time to get it to sound the way it should, ya know?
