VOLUNTEERING MY EARS!

I'm going to cheat and check-in right after posting. :P

Sadly, I have nothing of my own left to edit and my voice is still gone... Does anyone have anything they'd like beta-ed? I will listen to any length, fandom, or pairing and give you any concrit/thoughts/SQUEEs in whatever medium you'd like (email, google doc, other).

If you'd like a spare set of ears before you post, I am ready and willing (and will get my check-in minutes, lol).

Got about 45 minutes of editing done!

I posted some stuff that a spent an hour or so doing! And then I spent like thirty minutes on my charity podfic before deciding that no, I'm just unhappy with that whole segment so I'm going to re-record it.

But still a good day! \o/

Were you recording or editing mentioned segment? I usually end up doing the most scrapping as I record, cause I don't like how it feels, lol.

editing! there's the occasional problem where I can't tell that I sound really sick because I'm so used to sounding slightly sick that it doesn't register to me (I have allergies, so I generally feel fine, but I can sound really sick sometimes) and that whole segment sounds like I'm about to keel over and die or something.

Woooo, part one of my latest done. I mean, it took like, 19384985023985434 years to edited it all (for a 9 minute recording, that's a long time!), but it's done!

In truth, I did about 35 minutes of editing today, but it felt like a lot longer.

oh bb, I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope it comes back soon!! I want to take you up on beta-ing, really, but during amplificathon I kind of go without because it does take some time to back and forth :( Oh! But you can listen to two parts my Serial Killer AU if you want? It's going to take me ages to finish it all off, so if you don't mind listening to a WIP, I can hook you up?

Good job pushing yourself through the editing though, we all know it can be a horrid pain!

Recorded/edited/posted the crossover of crack! Spent a good chunk of time one-overing the end product working on the cover too, so somehow, somewhat efficient?? \o/ After that went and recorded/edited another crossover which took a lot longer than expected because I was fiddling with sound effects and stuff - but then I got back at it by designing a simple cover for it SO HAH. probably a spread of 3-ish hours over the day, I think?

Consider me hooked up for serial killer AU! After spending the night in the ER (nothing serious, thank goodness), the dr is giving me a work excuse for today... I would love to beta this for you.

I've been known to do the same thing with beating and Amplificathon, lol. My wonderful beta is also busy posting her own things, so we skip a step. :)

I know the feeling! My beta is moving house at the end of the month, so it's out the window even if I wanted her to beta them beforehand XD
