Lately when I record I also spend a lot of time not recording because I'm waiting for the computer fan to quiet down. So I got 40 minutes of recording in yesterday but it took me about an hour? But it felt good, got to something like the climax of the fic, halfway through chapter 15 out of 16.
I've managed to spend at least 20 minutes on podfic every day so far this month. I think it helped that I went on a trip early on and did some editing in airports, because after I'd done that I felt like I really had to keep it going, I couldn't just decide to skip a day because I was tired... even though I have sort of wanted to lately, as I've been getting frustrated from working on the same project for so long.
