All of you have been working hard on all sorts of podfic-related things. With Track 6 nearing an end just how close are you to finishing your projects? Will you be ready to post soon?

I posted it!! I edited until, like, 1am, and then I spent 2.5hrs today listening to the final cut, and then I posted it!

The past few days have been a bit hectic; yesterday I edited for 7 minutes, today for 6. However, I also did some research on how to pronounce fungi for a podfic, so I made the minimum for today.

Re-recorded for the final version of my pod-together podfic for the lightning round, and posted it! \o/ First podfic I've made in months!

Spent 18 minutes art-ing. I had a "murder your darlings" moment. Sometimes, there's the typeface you're dying to use, and the typeface you really should use instead ...

Seems I'll have about an hour of catch-up for Sat., and I'll spend that editing. There's a podficlet that I might just be able to finish this weekend. I found a pic for cover art last night. It's fate. The others? Well, nowhere near release, but I've recorded and that's a start.

Does anyone else feel trepidation about listening to the raw recording for the first time? My head fills with "it's going to be XX minutes of purest SUCK and my ears will weep" and then I don't want to go near it. Even though intellectually I know it WON'T be purest suck, and even if it is, I can re-record.

Did hours yesterday: finished re-records for ITPE including, like, 10 minutes of rambly notes; finished the rough edit and did all the noise reduction on the file to get ready to do my second-pass editing, and made a to-do list to try and organize the posting process - I'm making a version with music and one without, so I'm going to have 4 different files by the end and I always get everything mixed up in the final stages.

Yes. And with reason--a lot of times I'll end up being louder in the recording than I was during testing (story time = more exciting than "testing 123"), so I end up with a recording full of painful clipping sounds.
