Minutes lost to the ether that is Audacity crashing and there being no temp files for some reason: ~25
Minutes spent staring at my computer blankly and wondering why life sucks before recording: 3
Minutes spent rerecording exactly 1 of 2 sections before the roommate woke up: 11
Total: 39 minutes

I'm just gonna eat a bunch of Halloween candy and soothe my computer mishaps away now.

I really need to stop waiting to record until sleepy. *headdesks* But at least, for now, I'm sticking to the I HAVE TO get to my minimum. That's something! Yay ReMoPodMo community for making me stick to something for once! ;)

Soon, I hope! I've got a new microphone and I'm still trying find the best settings for recording. I don't think I'll be able to use anything I've recorded so far this month, but hey, it's practice, right?

Somewhat awkward this evening because I have a houseguest, but I did it with the headphones in and that was fine. Happy with how the recording sounds for the part of the Harry Potter fic I worked on. :)

HE'S STALKING ME, I SWEAR IT! AND I CAN HEAR HIS SNIGGERING TO HIMSELF IN THE HALLWAY AS I TRY AND RECORD SASSY PORN. IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

So, since it's already 11:30, and he's still stalking around the house, I'm gonna call it a night and make it up tomorrow. My goal was 15 minutes/night so...I'm not too far off. ^___^;;

Whoops, forgot to check in.

Yesterday, I was trying to meet a deadline for posting so I spent 100 minutes in the morning recording, another 90 minutes before dinner doing more recording, and 2 hours late at night doing frantic editing.
