Some of the recording was for my podfic and some of it was for a podcast that I've done for pod_aware.

I've never really done one before, it's extremely daunting not having a story to follow. Public speaking was the thing I hated most at school, I could read someone else's content out loud but my own? OMG SO SCARY.

I totally know what you mean. I did a little podmeta thing for brimtoast's birthday a little while back and that inspired me to do podcasts for each day of pod_aware. I have so many thoughts on podfic but when it was suddenly just me and the mic it was really hard to get them out.

For the official pod_aware podcasts I got others to join me and that was a lot easier. I'm excited to listen to yours, but it'll have to wait till tomorrow.

FTW! Still recording that same fic in Lewis fandom. :) In less good news, I was an utter dolt yesterday. After I proudly ran over to the comm to post my 15m achievement, I realised that I'd "recorded" without having plugged in the microphone first. And I didn't notice. *facepalms* So I re-recorded that bit today, stumbling over the same sentences. I suppose it's a mistake one only makes every couple of years? XD

recording: 25 minutes - finished off the HP fic!
editing: 10 minutes - barely a dent, really

I also spent two solid hours today making a masterlist of my podfics - I think it's just about done, need to do some of the LJ cuts and then post it tomorrow.

And I spent some time getting some podfic meta/discussion ready for pornspiration.

I'm unable to record on weekends D; but I was able to upload 3 podbooks (now with mp3) to an actual comm. And it only took me two hours! \0/ YAY!
