Is everyone still working away on pod_aware at a feverish pitch, or has anyone moved onto or back to other projects? What about those of you working on your epic WIPs?

I'm thinking today I need to sit down and re-evaluate the priorities of some old WIPs. I don't want to let anyone down, but man, at a certain point, they're just weighing me down.

Oh, wow, the longest I ever did was 41,000 (although one of the AIPs-audiofic in progress--is for a 90,000 fic), and it just took soooo long. If I were going to do it again, I would edit a little every day as I went, instead of saving it for a horrible editstravaganza at the end.

About 1 and a half hours recording/editing, and then sending it off to beta. Might podfic something short and silly later, we'll see how it goes. :D

Yay, added another 35 minutes of porn to my total! (Technically it's tomorrow already, but whatever. I haven't gone to bed yet.) I'm sort of o.O at how little mistakes I made - I've read this story twice before, and I read it really fast while recording, and yet there's 27 minutes of final recording time. 27 minutes podfic and only 8 minutes of editing? Really? I mean, really?!

... possibly this is because I didn't approach it as SRS BSNS, since I never intended to post it online. (Even if I wanted to, it'd be pretty difficult to get permission - the fic was coauthored, and written 5 years ago, and neither of the authors is still in the fandom, or, as far as I can tell, much in any fandom.)

So yeah, gonna go listen to it now and see if I can make it through without cringing at my voice! :D

Wow! That's quite awesome actually... *aspires to be just like you in all things edity* I'm really glad that you enjoyed yourself while reading it, the short and silly ones can be some of the most fun to record!
