20 min fine-tuning and about 1 hr listening through a part one of six podfic.

Thought I would only do the minimum 20 minutes today but editing was fun again, kept at it for 30 minutes and made good progress. :)

THINGS. THINGS I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT. I finished something, I think. I need to find a buddy to listen to it, but I think it might be ready to post? I've spent the last 4 hours working on this though. :D

phew! that was a good hour and a half of listening to myself talk. I finished the whole first segment of my charity podfic!

best bit of deleted nonsense: "I can talk! This fic isn't even in another language."

listening to myself talk is not fun for me, but I hope you don't feel the same!

Do you usually podfic in another language?

Listening to myself talk is a neutral activity, unless I am memorizing something. In that case, it is a terrible activity and I hate it.

And no, I do not! This is largely because I can speak Japanese (more accurate: I understand Japanese) but my ability to read Japanese is rather limited. I have, however, been reading poetry in the original language lately, which is kind of where the comment stemmed from.

you record yourself as a memorisation technique? That sounds quite time consuming!

I learnt Japanese for awhile, but not to the extent of being able to read poetry! That's hardcore, man :)

I love the things I sometime catch myself saying that ends up getting deleted. It's usually pretty funny.

YES I FINISHED OFF THAT PODFIC OF IMMENSE FRUSTRATION YESSSSSSSSSS took me about 70minutes to finish it all off because I realised I had developed a cold or something during the last ten minutes of recording(???) and so re-recorded that whole bit again. My freetalk however, remains nasally thick and sick sounding, mwahahahahaha!

I did nothing which was a bit sucky but ah well! I listened to lots of podfic so I didn't feel too bad about it. Hopefully I will get more editing done soon!

I beta-listened to about an hour of AWESOME podfic (Anatomy of a Fall) but I also impulsively recorded and edited a ten minute long notfic earlier that day that I thought was going to be my 30 minutes of the day.

Notfic remains the MOST FUN to record <33333
