(I did, however, have to listen to myself screw up one line for like. five minutes straight. apparently my skill at say the word "folder" has not improved since November?)

my word kryptonite is "ornament." irl I actually replace it with "shit you hang on trees" because it's so frustrating for me to say.

so, uh. no christmas tree decorating fic for me! that would be a nightmare. I would probably cry.

Mine is "totally". Which is funny, since I can say it in normal conversation as if I'm a total valley girl. Reading it though... Always trips me up.

Goal: 20 minutes

Last night I spent a little less than 10 minutes doing a practice read-through of a short fic and then a little more than ten minutes recording it. I was really proud of myself for getting even a little recording done after a full workday, because usually I only manage to record on my days off when I have a lot of time for it and my voice isn't tired.

Then I edited until it was done and posted! I forgot to keep track of how long the editing took, but anyway I surpassed my goal. Also decided to take my laptop with me on a trip I'm doing this weekend, so I won't have to miss those days.

I should probably watch the clock a lot more, but uh, I think I did maybe two-ish hours recording, editing and making covers for two twenty minute charity podfics. Interspersed with internets. Because that's how I roll.

I think I got about an hour or so of recording and editing Narnia podfic done. Not entirely sure on time though!
