Day 29, Track 4

The countdown continues! There are only two days left in Track/Round 4 of ReMoPodMo. Everyone has been working hard on any number of projects and it's been brilliant to see what people are doing both in the podfic process and with the actual podfics themselves.

As usual, I am impatient and can hardly wait to see what everyone has been working on. :P

OMG! Recorded the whole of the 16th and final chapter for podficbigbang! That's about an hour of recording, and of course took me somewhat longer because I'd stop to drink water and let the fan spin and such. But finished! I mean there's a scene in chapter 6 or so that I should go back and redo and there's still quite a bit of editing still to do. But omg! Last chapter!! The whole thing!!!

I finished my charity podfic!

(I'm really excited about this okay. This is currently my longest podfic, only the currently edited part of my podficbigbang exceeds it and uh, it's only like the first quarter of the fic or something.)

(But basically I spent ten minutes or so doing the cover, fifteen minutes finishing up the editing, and like thirty trying to put the stupid sections together in Audacity. Note to future me: pasting hour-long segments of audio into a new audacity file makes your computer cry. Plan for this.)

Congratulations on defeating the monster that is Audacity. I've been there and fought that battle, we are sisters in arms. :P
