Hello and welcome to Track 6 of ReMoPodMo! \O/
In case you’re not sure what to do, here’s a quick reminder:
*Reply to this post stating your minutes. You can tell us as much or as little about how you spent that time. It’s up to you, but we love to know what you’re up to. Even if you didn't do anything today, we're a community. Supporting each other is what we do. :)
* Feel free to comment on other people’s check-ins!
* This track, we are only posting on Dreamwidth. If you only have a Livejournal, or some other platform, you can sign in using OpenID.
* Have fun!

Congratulations on your recovery from a crashed laptop, I know that can be stressful. I understand keeping your podfic time to a strict scheduled amount of time, I'm doing the same thing this year, since I'm also writing for NaNoWriMo, lol.
Can't wait to see what you're working on!!!

Well, the laptop was only two months old, which in a way makes it worse (it shouldn't crash when it's that new!) but also easier (because I hadn't accumulated a lot of stuff on it). Ah well, it's okay now.
The thing I'm working on will probably take a long time, alas, since it's a collaboration with four people.
And good luck combining ReMo with NaNo! : )

I'm honestly not sure if I prefer to read off screen or off paper. I like being able to make notes/underline things on paper but it does screw slightly with the sound (though I'm going to fix that eventually by getting a proper mic).

When it comes to reading off paper vs screen, for me, it actually depends on the story. Which is probably weird, lol. I've read LOOOOOOONG Lord of the Rings stories, but the flow of the story was easier to translate into podfic when I was physically turning the pages and such.
Congratulations on reaching and exceeding your goal. \o/

Now debating which of the podfics I need to do should be first this month ^u^
...and screwing my courage to the sticking place and actually uploading my podfic, hopefully.

3 hours (maybe more, I forgot to write down when I started, so it might be more like 4 hours) of a re-read on the 12 hour podfic I start recording tomorrow.
1 hour, 20 minutes recording the sixth chapter in a large series I've already started.
about 15 minutes of editing a ficlet I recorded a few days ago.
I'll probably dick around for a while more tonight looking for coverart pics to play with.
My 1 year podfic anniversary is Nov. 23rd and my plan is to release a huge project on that day, and since I have the next 4 days off of work, I plan on putting in a lot of time this week. Probably wont be hitting it so hard next week and I'll most likely just be focusing on editing.
:)

I can't believe how fast the year has gone. I was *hoping* to have 100 works done my first year year as well. But it turns out I'll be about 10ish shy of that.
I'm recording so much it makes my eyes cross just thinking about it! :D

Is Beloved...a pet? Because pets are serious business in my family. It's a new day, with new podficcing opportunities, so don't be too hard on yourself.
