Managed to sandwich half an hour of recording and reviewing text between meetings. Might come back to it after this next meeting, depending on how late it goes.

I'm no expert cover artist, but I made that podfic and said, "I need a REALLY nice picture of a cupcake for this one." I'm glad that I chose the right one. (My Google-fu is strong. :D)

I don't know the show I'm struggling to follow the plot but OMG do I love your voice acting! :)

XDDDDD. Community can be difficult to follow. The main thing is that one character (Abed) won tickets to a late night talk show, but can't go. His friends (Shirley and Annie) organize a bake sale for him to raise the ticket money, while another friend (Britta) pulls some strings and gets a rival talk show to...be angry, IDK.

In the midst of all this, Abed figures out that he's in love with Troy and that their bromance has evolved into a romantic comedy. Did that help at all?

Podfic is hard, but students are harder. Even doing just 10 minutes a day until the end of the month would mean 4 hours of work! o/?

I may have spent 50 minutes "selecting the music" (aka searching the Internet Archive and listening to Bing Crosby).

No idea who Bing Crosby is, but I am a HUGE advocate for Team Music, so I understand how that research is important. :)

My upstairs neighbour decided to stomp down the stairs in the middle of fairly long and emotional take earlier, so I finally learned how to use the noise filtering functionality in Audacity. ;-)

30 minutes of character voices kicking my ass. Will start fresh tomorrow.

Keeping character voices consistent is no small task! Take breaks where you need them and keep on trucking.

Recorded Chapter 3 of my big project. I was struggling for some reason. 2 hours, 20 minutes raw. Was not feeling the whole thing, so I decided to skip recording Chapter 4. I'll just try and do 2 chapters each day for the next 2 days. I'm hoping to have recording complete on Friday.

Spent about an hour downloading music and making a playlist for the fic. So I clocked about 3 hours today.

20 min of bitty stops and starts, but I ended up with 7 min of useable stuff :) Some days you take what you can get.

That's 7 more minutes than before, right? Keep chipping away and you'll be done sooner than you think! :)

Thank you, that is exactly how I try to think about it. However, that's a hard mentality to keep when you're working on a 75K project /o\
