Day 24, Track 6 (Wednesday, GMT -6)

The countdown has begun! Track 6 of ReMoPodMo is coming to a close. Everyone who has participated should feel proud of what you've accomplished so far this track. Even when you weren't able to devote some time to podfic, you were still being awesome! I am so very proud of you all! *hugs (or high fives) for everyone* :D

With the holidays just around the corner, is anyone planning to record festive themed stories? Check in and let us know, yeah?

Woohoo, 15 minutes of recording corrections for my old WIP and then recording a new bit for it! This doesn't sound like much, but it was a mental barrier to get over to start working on it again, especially since it'll be a 4.5 hour podfic and I'm only about 40% done.

Impeccable, no. I mean, since the podfic is recorded in two different places, there will be differences in the acoustic quality of the files. : ( But I really couldn't help that.

This has been an excellent month for me. I have recorded 4 podfics, edited 3, posted two. I hope to have the other two done by the end of the month, but they may stretch into next week. Thanks for hosting guys!

I kinda used a large chunk of my day off for editing. Like, 6.5 hours? So I'm nearly done with my first edit, which I will finish before I go to bed. And then I need to work the music in which'll take some time. And then it might be done.

You are an editing fiend, I must say. It sounds like you're nearing the end of this project, which means you're another step closer to posting and sharing all of your hard work with the world.

Rest up, my podficcing friend, you're pretty darned close to the finish line. One (or two) last sprint(s) and you're there. You can do it!!! :D

I got lots done today! Listened to what I have for #ITPE so far and decided to... re-record a bit (what >.>). There was more back-and-forth with the writer to arrange for some minor edits and effects, and then recorded for 90 minutes! And all that on 4 hours' sleep and a full morning of teaching :p

I'm quite pleased with myself, I can't lie! :D

Woah, that is a lot to accomplish in one day! I wish you all the luck on your re-records AND a full nights' rest, if you can manage it. ;)

I recorded two podfics, but I think I'm losing my mojo. Recording at home produces a different sound than recording at school and I had to delete some of what I recorded. NO ME GUSTA. :(

ETA: 8 MINSOF EDITING!!!! So, that makes 40ish total minutes.

Good for you, getting 40ish minutes done for the day! I'm curious, is the different sound a problem because it's all one project or just that it sounds different? I don't record at the library because it sounds too echoey to me and am curious if its the same situation for you.

I live in the basement, so it's big and echoey in there. I'll have to build another blanket fort to try and catch the sound so that it doesn't bounce back. The main problem is that I recorded in parts, so the first half sounds nicer than the second half. I wouldn't mind as much as long as it sounded consistent. Oh well, it was a birthday gift so I hope my recipient likes it. *fingers crossed*

And the heat has kicked in because it is finally cold outside, so I am super sleepy and using it to ignore things.

If we ignore the past week, where I first went out of town and now have family staying with me, this has been a pretty good month for podficcing. Recorded 4 collaborative podfics, edited, and posted. Recorded and posted a short podfic. Recorded and edited my 2-hour #ITPE project (sent to beta today). Recorded my parts for Choose Your Own Avenger today and hope to edit by the weekend. And once my family leaves Saturday I hope to do one last sprint to get something else accomplished.

Thanks for hosting! I know without the push to record I wouldn't have gotten so much done this month. :)

Hello there.

I have been absent for the last few days from checking in, but I have been working very hard. I finally finished editing the long project. :D It's clocking in at 11hours. I just have to do a final listen through because I can't let my baby out into the world without just making sure it's as perfect as I can get it. So I'm hoping to post it Friday:)

So I think over the last few days I've clocked about 15 hours. I'm about to clock about 15 more with the listen-thru and last second changes and uploading and posting.

I can't wait to report to you that my November project has been posted the next time I check-in:)

Sorry, I had Doctor Who bonding time with my mother last night and didn't have time for podfic. Thanksgiving isn't looking too good either, but I might manage 10 minutes.
